Embeddable Tweets Could Increase Visibility for Twitter and Twitterers

Update 2: Robin Sloan from Twitter, who created and announced the Blackbird Pie tool to embed tweets is stressing that this is just an experiment, at this point, and that calling it a Twitter feature makes him  "cringe" because he knows "what kind of care goes into real Twitter features."

For the record, I've only said that it should be a feature since it was revealed.

Citysearch and AT&T’s YP.com (YellowPages.com) Get More Integrated

AT&T Interactive and Citysearch have expanded their relationship, so that sponsored listings on YP.com (the rebranded yellowpages.com), can be displayed across CityGrid, Citysearch's local content and advertising network the company told us about in March.

CitySearch - CityGrid Citygrid, Citysearch told us, would give local advertisers access to a pay-for-performance ad platform and campaign tools, a scalable SEO solution on the web, local listings optimization, and wider distribution.

DMA Says Privacy Bill Would Hurt Online Advertising

The Direct Marketing Association has voiced its opposition to a draft of a privacy bill introduced this week by Representatives Rick Boucher (D-VA) and Cliff Stearns (R-FL).

The DMA says the draft bill has potentially sweeping impacts for direct marketers working across every marketing channel, from direct mail and telemarketing to email, Internet and, mobile marketing.

Online Ad Revenue Hits Record High for Q1

The Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers have shared some new findings indicating that online ad revenues in the U.S. hit $5.9 billion for the first quarter of 2010. That's the highest first-quarter revenue of all time.
